Does Waldron Communications work as a prime contractor?

Yes. Waldron carries outside plant work as prime (route design and permitting, construction, splicing, testing and as-builts, plus maintenance afterward) under a single contract with the owner. We also run as a specialty subcontractor on larger civil and utility programs.

What does turnkey mean in practice?

One accountable company across every stage: engineering, permitting, construction, splicing, test and turn-up, documentation and maintenance. Waldron engineers the route in house and manages the crews that build it.

Which work does Waldron do in house?

Engineering is done in house by Waldron employees. Fielding, construction, splicing and maintenance are done by subcontract crews that Waldron manages.

Will you bid on our forms and through our procurement process?

Yes. Send the solicitation to info@waldroncommunications.com. We respond on the owner's documents and schedule, with bonds, certificates of insurance, safety statistics and references attached.

Is Waldron bondable, and what are the insurance limits?

Bonding capacity and current insurance limits are provided with a prequalification package on request. Certificates naming the owner or general contractor as additional insured are issued on award.

What safety certifications do Waldron employees hold?

All Waldron employees are OSHA 10 certified, and the company runs a formal drug-free workplace program with ongoing testing. Certification is maintained on schedule.

Which NAICS codes describe your work?

237130 (Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction) is the primary code for Waldron’s work. 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors) is also listed.

Can you handle prevailing wage or grant-funded requirements?

Prevailing wage, certified payroll and material-sourcing requirements are confirmed job by job before bid. Name the funding source with your scope and the office will confirm in writing.

Scope and capability

Scope and capability.

Do you splice both fiber and coax?

Yes. Fusion splicing for ribbon and loose tube fiber, and hardline and drop splicing for coaxial plant. Both are handled by crews we manage.

Who does the directional boring?

Boring and trenching are done by Waldron-managed crews.

Do you provide engineering without construction?

Yes. Route design, make-ready, pole loading and permitting can be bought as a standalone package for plant somebody else will build.

What documentation do you deliver at closeout?

OTDR traces, power meter test results, splice records and as-built redlines, delivered in the format the owner's engineering group files.
